The Collective Catalog of the Network of Spanish University Libraries can be considered the most important in the country due to the volume of its holdings. It is updated every 2 months. With this frequency (or more, depending on the will or possibilities of each institution), the 65 libraries that make up REBIUN dump their particular catalogs to make up this common catalog, which in November 2006 exceeded 8 million titles. CIRBIC was incorporated in 2002, and is the second largest in terms of number of titles. The first is that of the Complutense University.
