What is happening with space in many CSIC libraries?

Abstract

One morning, some time ago, I was informed that this library was to have a partition wall erected in the middle of it and that its space was to be reduced by half. When I asked why, I was informed that a new lab was needed and that it had been decided that the library was the only place in the entire institute where a reduction could be allowed without too many negative consequences for tomorrow, "since in the coming years the content of the library will be decreasing, since there are more and more electronic journals and in the future .... there will be less paper".
