Abstract

Last February 25 we were invited by the Consorci de Biblioteques Universitàries de Catalunya (CBUC) to visit the facilities of the repository for documents of scarce use, which the Catalan Library Consortium has put into operation in Lleida. The project, which is now a reality, is called GEPA (Guarantee of Space for Preservation and Access) and its iconographic image represents a camel with a "hump" (which is also what "gepa" means in Catalan).
