From September 8 to 10, 2008, the annual conference of the International Users Group of Ex Libris [products] (IGeLU) was held for the first time in Spain, organized by the CSIC Libraries Coordination Unit and held in different buildings provided by the CSIC (Central, 113, Medioambientales, Rocasolano, M.A. Catalán and Jorge Manrique). This is the most important event at international level for all those institutions that work with any of the products (MetaLib, Primo, SFX, Verde, DigiTool, Aleph, Voyager) that Ex Libris markets for libraries, archives, museums, etc. It presents the most recent changes and updates that have been made, those that are planned to be implemented, summarizes the action policies that are being carried out by the company itself and by the user group (IGeLU) and the working groups in which it is composed, and also presents interesting projects and applications that are being carried out by some of the institutions that work with Ex Libris products.
