Abstract

At the beginning of November the CSIC Libraries Coordination Unit launched a new 2.0 tool: twitter. Although this online application has as many uses as there are users, here it is understood as a quick and direct announcement system of information from the ECo blog (Communication Space) and the main website of the CSIC Library Network. Through this microblogging service (writing short ideas-posts/tweets, no more than 140 characters) a new communication channel is opened with news of interest, incidents, conferences, exhibitions,... which is not intended to replace the list of libraries.
