Digital.CSIC at the International Seminar "Open Access to Scientific Information: Policies for OA Development in Southern European Countries".

Abstract

Digital.CSIC participated in the international seminar "Open Access to Scientific Information: Policies for the development of OA in Southern European countries" on May 13-14, 2010, held under the auspices of the FECYT with the aim of promoting a debate on the challenges and opportunities of Southern European countries (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Turkey) to disseminate scientific information in open access and to design a roadmap with local and regional policies to take advantage of the rise of this international movement. The CSIC acted as host, making its School of Arab Studies in Granada available for the event.
