5th Conference on Archives and Memory

Abstract

On February 17 and 18, 2011, the 5th Conference on Archives and Memory was held at the Center for Human and Social Sciences. It was organized by the Spanish Railways Foundation, the Institute of Language, Literature and Anthropology and the Tomás Navarro Tomás Library of the CSIC. It was entitled: Extraordinary and out of the ordinary: training, conservation and management of personal archives. The opening lecture was given by the writer and journalist Jorge Martínez Reverte and the closing lecture was given by the philosopher Manuel Cruz.
