CSIC Archives: Recent Advances

Abstract

In issue 17 of Enredadera I published my first contribution to our journal, which, it could not be otherwise, was dedicated to the Archives. In that article I talked about the impulse that the Unit of Scientific Information Resources for Research (at that time the Libraries Coordination Unit) had proposed to give to the CSIC Archives. Most of the objectives we set at that time have been achieved, some by far and others, due to the dynamics of the work itself, have been postponed or replaced by others that have proved to be more necessary. In general terms, the proposed momentum has been achieved, however, as we know, the work is never finished, new challenges arise, new needs arise and the obligation to consider new impulses that allow us to continue advancing in a line of work that still has many steps to take in the CSIC.
