Quality policies in the CSIC Library and Archive Network

Abstract

The Scientific Information Resources Unit for Research, as the entity responsible for the direction and management of the CSIC Library and Archive Network, proposed in its Strategic Plan (2010-2013) to launch different programs focused on the Network entering into the dynamics of the quality policies that were being initiated or consolidated by the CSIC itself or by other library organizations. The idea was to shape new aspects or those that were already being considered but that did not have a general framework that encompassed them. The aforementioned Strategic Plan raised the need to integrate these programs and their objectives within the CSIC quality policy.
