The Botanical Institute of Barcelona completes the Salvador Fund

Abstract

The Library and Archive of the Botanical Institute of Barcelona has just added an important bibliographic and documentary collection to its collection. This is part of the Salvador collection whose existence was unknown until recently. In addition to books and documents, other objects that belonged to the former cabinet of this family have been acquired, such as clay tablets, pharmacy jars and fossils. Thanks to this addition, the Botanical Institute completes the most valuable collection it holds.
