Abstract

Linked Open Data (LOD) refers to the possibility of relating, displaying or exchanging data through URIs that uniquely identify them on the web. The objective of this data is to be used in the semantic web by machines that can read it to search for information automatically. LOD uses a series of standards defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and is tagged using the Resource Description Framework (RDF) using XML syntax.
