Abstract

The development of the www today offers an unfathomable amount of data, accessible almost universally and whose increase apparently has no limit. In 2014, the number of Internet users worldwide will exceed 2 billion people and this figure seems to be expanding exponentially. The web was initially conceived as an online consultation medium in which the user was a mere consumer of data and opinions. This situation soon evolved towards the bidirectionality of the information route, through computer tools such as Facebook or Twitter that offer users the option of dialoguing with each other through digital devices.
