Inventories and Catalogues of the Spanish Historical Heritage at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport

Abstract

On December 2, 2014, the State Secretariat for Culture held a conference entitled “Inventories and catalogues of Spanish Historical Heritage in the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.” The aim of the conference was to contribute to the dissemination of the tools that the Spanish Historical Heritage Law of 1985 establishes as an essential aspect for the knowledge and protection of the assets of our historical heritage, based on their nature and the levels of protection that the Law itself defines for these assets. Likewise, the purpose of the conference was to focus on the elements and lines of work that these tools have in common and to identify the coincidence regarding their future projection.
