Service charters are the instrument through which the different bodies of the General State Administration inform citizens about the services they are entrusted with, about the rights they have in relation to those services and about the quality commitments in their provision. They are an essential instrument for bringing public services closer to citizens and also for their improvement by establishing mechanisms for dealing with complaints and defining a series of indicators that allow us to know whether users are satisfied or not with what is offered to them.
