Document Retrieval Service as seen from a library

Abstract

Since I started working in the CSIC Library and Archive Network, and therefore in a scientific and specialized library, I have loved the idea and the importance of sharing resources both nationally and internationally in this type of library and network structure. The crisis has forced us to see sharing not as an option but as an obligation. Furthermore, the Internet has made it possible for not having direct access to a document not to be a spatial or temporal problem. In all libraries, but especially in scientific libraries, where access to information must be extremely fast, where information is key to supporting the development and growth of science, requests to other centers, national or international, are a constant.
