Cybermetrics: measuring the network space

Abstract

As outlined in the book's presentation, and to put us in context, I would like to begin by recalling that cybermetrics provides a set of knowledge and techniques that allow us to collect and analyse cyberspace with the aim of obtaining information relating to content, resources and users on the network in various areas of activity, in order to understand and predict patterns of use and consumption of information.
