Abstract

RDA (Resource Description and Access) emerged in 2010 as the cataloging guidelines that replaced AACR2 (Anglo-American Cataloging Rules); it has already been incorporated by a large number of libraries, mainly in the Anglo-Saxon world, including the Library of Congress, and its use is spreading more slowly to other parts of the world.
