New system in the Off-Campus Access Service to Electronic Resources

Abstract

Since last January, a new system has been in operation for off-campus access to electronic information resources through PAPI. The Scientific Information Resources Unit for Research (URICI) decided to undertake a complete renovation of the computer applications that PAPI works with after evaluating the results of satisfaction surveys, in which this service obtained relatively low scores. In this way, it assumed its commitment to provide users with access to information at any time and from any place, in the most efficient and rapid way possible.
