Abstract

On October 20, the Institute for Advanced Social Studies (IESA-CSIC) celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Center's existence. Preparations began a year earlier, and the work has been arduous. Among other activities, the inauguration of the “Salvador Giner” Bibliographic Collection was planned, since the author (professor of Sociology and emeritus professor at the University of Barcelona) had expressed interest on several occasions in donating his work to our Center. Thanks to the efforts made by Professor Pérez Yruela (former director of IESA and friend and disciple of Professor Giner) and the IESA library itself, the project became a reality.
