Doñana, Acta Vertebrata and how to digitize with few resources

Abstract

The Cartuja Campus Library serves five institutes with such varied subject areas that in most cases they have nothing in common, and therefore their needs are also different. This fact has led us to consider quite different tasks for the bibliographic collection of the Doñana Biological Station on many occasions. The EBD, for example, has a small but very interesting old collection that has led us to hold monthly bibliographic exhibitions to make our users aware of the wealth of what we hold. This idea arose from the last Book Day, as we organised an exhibition on old scientific journals that was really well received.
