XIV Conference of the Association of Users of Ex Libris Products in Spain (EXPANIA)

Abstract

The 14th edition of the Ex Libris Product Users Association in Spain (Expania) Conference was held on May 12 at the Rocasolano Institute of Physical Chemistry of the CSIC. It was organized by the Scientific Information Resources Unit for Research (URICI) of the CSIC and Expania, and sponsored by Ex Libris. More than 70 participants attended, including users of Ex Libris products and staff from Ex Libris and Proquest, its parent company. Ex Libris's library management and electronic resource access programs, such as Aleph, SFX, Summon, Primo and Alma, are widely distributed in Spain, where they are used by university and scientific libraries, health systems, financial institutions and private companies.
