Abstract

On April 3 and 4, the Annual DataCite Assembly was held in Barcelona, sponsored by the CSIC at its Residència d’Investigadors, and attended by the CSIC as a member, represented by URICI. DataCite is the international non-profit organization that promotes the assignment of persistent identifiers (DOIs) to scientific data to ensure that the scientific community locates, identifies, cites and can make reliable and consistent use of them.
