The commitment of libraries to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda is presented and it is shown how the digitization of documentary heritage can contribute to the achievement of these purposes. The case of the Simurg portal, digitized collections of the CSIC, serves as an example, within the field of specialized libraries and archives, highlighting some of the projects carried out.
