POST-BOOKS: Monsters in the chiaroscuro of the book

Abstract

Can an exhibition on books serve to attract to the library those users who have lost interest in them as a means of accessing information? Can an exhibition on “books in crisis” help to tackle – in part – the physical crisis of a library? Can “Post-books” temporarily reoccupy the shelves – sometimes empty – to propose a reflection on the state of the art? The search for some possible answers to these questions is behind the conception of the exhibition that has been on display from February 9 to June 30 at the CID Library.
