Abstract

The CSIC Library and Archives Network has been using the Aleph management system since the 1980s. This was the first and only Integrated Library Management System (SIGB) in the Network and has already gone through many stages. The evolution of Aleph towards the LSP model is called Alma, and this is the platform that the CSIC libraries and archives will use for their management in the not too distant future.
