Abstract

Reflection on the evolution and prospects of professional publications on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the publication of Enredadera. This type of publication, without claiming to be at the forefront of bibliometric indicators, performs a very important function in a professional group. Beyond scientific journals, which prioritize original research content over the exchange of experiences or case studies, and which work to occupy a place in international citation indexing databases, there is a wide and varied set of publications that can perform a quality information function in a professional community. To do so, they need to find their niche and their reason for being in a complex environment.
