Abstract

In this article I intend to present, in a very brief way, not only the 2030 Agenda and how public policies are being modified towards its achievement, but also what are the main issues and opportunities or challenges that libraries face. To do this, I will first make a brief review of the 2030 Agenda and then, I propose a small reflection on the role of libraries in development, the issues that we are already doing and that align us with this new policy framework, to finally enunciate the lines of work in this area that has proposed the strategy presented by the Working Group "Libraries and Agenda 2030" of the Library Cooperation Council.
