In September 2017 began a process that six months later would culminate with the replacement of Aleph, the management program that CSIC libraries and archives had been using for 30 years, by Alma, the new library services platform of the CSIC Libraries and Archives Network. It has been a transition that has involved a major effort, both by the staff of the Unit of Scientific Information Resources for Research (URICI) and by all the staff of the CSIC libraries and archives, and it cannot be said that it is completely finished today, as there are still small adjustments to be made, data to be corrected and functionalities to be implemented.
