Heritage, by itself, has an incalculable intrinsic value. A value of knowledge, of progress, after all, of learning. And this is one of the reasons, of the many that may exist, why it is important to enhance its value. On the one hand, with the aim of its correct treatment and conservation; and, on the other hand, for its transmission, accessibility and approach to research personnel and, why not, to the citizenship as a whole. Simurg, CSIC digitized collections, is a portal that holds digital objects, a kind of virtual museum that houses previously digitized bibliographic and archival works.
