Abstract

Gaspar Olmedo introduces the changes in the library panorama with the introduction of ICTs and explains that the fact that the Network is made up of very heterogeneous libraries in terms of size and subject matter has meant that changes have not occurred at the same pace or in the same way throughout the Network. Based on this reflection, it was thought advisable to have a snapshot of the tasks carried out in the libraries and archives of the network and the opinion of their professionals regarding the future, which is the origin of the survey whose results are presented here.
