Abstract

He began his speech by expressing the desire to be able to establish a strategy for action together. To this end, he defines the CSIC with numbers: institutes, research and training personnel, libraries and archives, and collections. He also referred to the closed research cycle focused on publication, stating that the Network is there, but it happens that there is much more information that, as of today, we are not dealing with. He asks whether we will be able to open this circle, aware that, although libraries are prepared to work in this opening, the scenario is very complex and diverse.
