Abstract

During the months of confinement due to the Covid 19 pandemic, teleworking has become a new reality to which we have had to adapt quickly. This practically non-existent option in libraries and archives until now, has acquired a leading role during this pandemic. The professionals at the Tomás Navarro Tomas Library have had to reorient work related to the physical collection and the presence of the user to those that could be carried out locally with our materials and equipment, or that could be developed online because the information managers used by the CSIC Network of Libraries and Archives are in the cloud. But we have also had to improve digital services; reinforce the creation of training and informational content; rethink the way we relate to researchers; create new products and services by expanding the content on our websites; avoid the problems arising from the absence of physical documents; and all this without forgetting the administrative management of the budget, or the implementation of the Library Commission.
