iThenticate, plagiarism detection software: one year of usage at the CSIC

Abstract

In January 2021 the CSIC Libraries and Archives Network began to offer a new service to its researchers: the use of iThenticate as a tool to detect possible cases of academic plagiarism. Its implementation process and some data about its use during 2021 are presented.
